It really assured us that our pup was being well taking care of. Thank you for being so accommodating with our schedule. Thanks for washing all of Precious's bedding. Shout out to Benito for all your help during check in. Precious is so tired and happy to be home. April Earley2025-09-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I sent my puppy Sierra to Humble Paws for reactive dog training. She wasn't mean, just barked at everything. Other dogs, people , nothing when we went out side, people walking going down the streets while we were driving so frustrating. Now with help from Manuel and his crew she is 90 percent better (a work in progress) they also had to train me to be better on focusing on my training and attention to detail on what I was doing wrong. 2 weeks from now she goes to pass her her canine good citizen class for service dog, and then soon follow in her sisters foot steps for theraphy dog work at the hospital. Thank-you all at Humble Paws for helping us. 100% success!!! Love you all!!! Kaylie Acosta2025-08-30Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience boarding our fur baby. The communication was great and I received updates. It was very challenging finding a boarding place last minute that would take Bonnie in since she is aggressive. That was communicated to Manuel, the owner and he made me feel at ease and did not discriminate Bonnie based on her past. She really seemed to enjoy her stay. We are looking forward to training. Update: Bonnie graduated with Manuel's 6 week aggression modification program. We couldn't be any happier. He made it happen with one on one sessions at home with all our fur babies. Bonnie, loved all the staff there and was always excited to arrive. We will continue to meet with Manuel for training monthly and board our fur babies with Humble Paws! Before training, we couldn’t take him on walks because he simply wouldn’t listen, and his aggression toward other people and dogs made things even harder. Now, after completing the program, Caine responds to commands while walking and can comfortably be around both people and other dogs. The change in his behavior has truly improved our daily lives, and we’re so grateful to Humble Paws for their guidance and training. I highly recommend them to anyone struggling with their dog’s behavior—you’ll be amazed at the difference! Ryan Pierce2025-08-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We visited Colorado on a family vacation with our dog, but found out she was barking any time we left the room. We had to find a place to keep her during our planned events including an overnight stay. We called Humble Paws at 6:30 PM and had a quick discussion about our situation and what we needed. After filling out standard paperwork and sharing vaccination records we were able to drop her off at 8:00 the next morning. I was hoping we could get her in so quickly, but didn’t really expect it would happen. Thank you Humble Paws! The staff including the owner, Manuel, were friendly and communicated great throughout the process including during Lilli’s stay. In talking with Manuel and the staff it was clear they love the pets they are taking care of or training. We received a video of Lilli each day she was in their care, so we could see her having fun in their kiddy pool or just hanging with the other dogs. We adjusted our schedule and extended Lilli’s stay on short notice and the team confirmed via text that was no problem and that Lilli was all set to stay with them. Really, everything with the process was seamless and Lilli had a great time. I absolutely recommend Humble Paws for training, day care, or boarding. The next time we’re in CO with Lilli we’ll be using them again. Below is a picture of Lilli after pickup on the last day. At only 5 months old, he learned to be on his best behavior walking on the lease, learning commands like sit, down, stay, come and so much more all within two weeks. I would love to have Bernie finish a refresher course after he turns a year. You guys are so wonderful to work with; I truly appreciate the love and care you put into transforming good pups into great pups! The check in process was simple and smooth. Each day I received a video or two of my dogs playing in the yard. When I needed to extend by one day, there was no problem. When I picked them up, my pups looks happy and healthy. I highly recommend Humble Paws! 🐶
I can’t say enough great things about humble paws. Manuel is a miracle worker! Both of our pups were wild and hard to control. Now, they are not even the same dogs! We are soooo happy! Not only does Manual do a great job with these pups but he is the most genuine down to earth man! His mission and the way he gives back is beautiful. I can’t say enough great things! If you are looking for a dog trainer there is simply no other choice! 🙂
This place is absolutely the best! It was a recommendation from my sister who had her dog trained here and I am so happy we took it into consideration. I spent 5 or 6 weeks training my dog here and throughout those weeks, there has been huge improvements I’ve seen from my dog. They are caring and take their time to get how you would like your dog to be trained. 10/10 🙌 I really recommend Humble Paws!
I have over 10 years experience training dogs. I’ve worked with some of the most aggressive rambunctious dogs. You could imagine and I have trained some of the softest cuddliest tiniest dogs. You can imagine but the most important thing out of all my experience is I have grasped knowledge from each individual dog big and small and have applied it to the next up-and-coming dog I have trained and that’s why I have so much success.
I have worked with several different breeds over the years and I have came to the realization that dog training and care is an art. With that being said it does not matter the breed, you must change your energy and approach with each individual dog you’re working with.
I use positive reinforcement mixed with adversive conditioning. I believe it is so important to build a relationship with your pup first so that they can trust in you and the process once I have built up trust with your pup I then teach him to commands Without using any type of correction. Once your pup has showed me that he can repeat each command on first command every time then at that point when he decides not to respond on first command, I add in a correction sequence.
I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that dog training is a art not a science you are going to meet so many different dogs and each of those dogs have their own unique characteristics usually either rambunctious or middle of the road calm and easy-going. You have to change up your training style with each of those dogs either bringing your energy up or bringing it down. Sometimes you deal with dogs who have a low tolerance for correction other dogs they can care less what type of correction they get you must be willing to be firm or easy-going with certain pups to get your desired result.
