Frequently Asked Questions

I have over 10 years experience training dogs. I’ve worked with some of the most aggressive rambunctious dogs. You could imagine and I have trained some of the softest cuddliest tiniest dogs. You can imagine but the most important thing out of all my experience is I have grasped knowledge from each individual dog big and small and have applied it to the next up-and-coming dog I have trained and that’s why I have so much success.

I have worked with several different breeds over the years and I have came to the realization that dog training and care is an art. With that being said it does not matter the breed, you must change your energy and approach with each individual dog you’re working with.

I use positive reinforcement mixed with adversive conditioning. I believe it is so important to build a relationship with your pup first so that they can trust in you and the process once I have built up trust with your pup I then teach him to commands Without using any type of correction. Once your pup has showed me that he can repeat each command on first command every time then at that point when he decides not to respond on first command, I add in a correction sequence.

I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that dog training is a art not a science you are going to meet so many different dogs and each of those dogs have their own unique characteristics usually either rambunctious or middle of the road calm and easy-going. You have to change up your training style with each of those dogs either bringing your energy up or bringing it down. Sometimes you deal with dogs who have a low tolerance for correction other dogs they can care less what type of correction they get you must be willing to be firm or easy-going with certain pups to get your desired result.
